What to expect on Sunday...

We have two worshipping communities 9am & 5:30pm, plus online. Click here for online worship.

SUNDAY 9am...

On a typical Sunday at 9am around 150-200 people of all ages and cultures gather. We begin with singing as a way to praise God. This is led with a band and sometimes our pipe organ. We offer prayers through the service for our world, ourselves and others. There will be some specific creative input for children (of all ages!) We often have puppets. Children 2-12 can then join our children’s ministry while teens and older hear the Bible read, and an engaging message proclaimed.

The first Sunday of the month we share communion. The third Sunday of the month the children remain and the whole service is aimed at engaging everyone!

The service typically runs for 70 minutes. Afterwards morning tea is served - it is a great chance to get to meet some people.

There is a parent’s room for those with young children and people with disabilities are always welcome. We have toilets with disability access, a parents change room and access for fail aged.

You will not be singled out as a visitor during the service! You are quite welcome to come along and ‘watch’ from the sidelines, but come early if you want a seat at the back!

Our ‘style’ is inter-generational, contemporary, informed by tradition with a charismatic flavour. Everything we do flows from Jesus and the Bible.

Sunday Night 5:30pm [Not School Holidays]

Sunday Night 30 odd people gather across the age range to sit at tables, share snacks and stories and discuss faith. It is a more informal, relaxed group. And we're hoping to develop it with live musicians and other features. Come be a part of this new venture.

Paul Clark's Farewell

After 12 years of faithful service, Paul [& Becky] Clark are concluding their service to us. They joined Redcliffe Uniting in 2012 with a mandate to bring new life into the church, especially seeking to make our congregation intergenerational, and connected to community. They have done this and then some.

Becky rebuilt Sunday school, and was blessed to re-vitalise playgroup. Sunday school went from 5 children, to 4 classes before Covid. Playgroup went from one morning to 5 days a week, parenting breakfasts, courses, Day Camp, families at 5 and all sorts of fun extras.

Paul meanwhile did very little. Ok, he helped God grow the congregation, with Becky, helping us grow younger with his puppets, stories and inexhaustible creativity. He reached out to the community, whether it was as the 'At the Top' guy on 96FIVE FM radio and around Australia, writing for the local paper, puppets in schools, rebuilding the Redcliffe Church Leader's Network, Helping to set up the Redcliffe Care Network, helping to employ a Redcliffe RI Coordinator, fund raise for School Chaplains - and then help set the vision to build a $5M Community Services HUB, right in the heart of Redcliffe, serving hundreds if not thousands of locals each months. He passionately supported the Moreton Bay Says NO 2 Violence Campaign as a community leader to eliminate Domestic Violence.

Please Join us to say thank you! To tell stories, share memories and cry tears! If you can't make the worship service, please do come for the Morning tea/lunch where various speeches and stories will be shared.

Please RSVP to help with catering. All are welcome.

What people say about us...

"Thanks for the message today. You have a gift for presenting meaningfully to all age groups at once. I appreciate that you don't gloss over difficult topics, even for the kids. I am probably someone who will never quite be at peace with The Problem of Pain, but I value having a leader who names the troubling issues and still has faith and hope." Member

"The Redcliffe Uniting Church is so often at the forefront of local volunteering." Yvette D'Ath. MP for Redcliffe & Attorney General.

"Chaplains dream of having local church's like your Church involved; prayerfully, voluntarily and financially." - School Chaplain

"I have never been so stimulated and inspired on a regular basis in a church" - Long time church member.

"Your [Church's] contribution over the last term to chaplaincy/ the community has been amazing!" - School Chaplain

"Thanks for running a wonderful component of the event, well done to yourself and the team! Thanks for being so amazing to work with." - Melissa Redcliffe Festival Team

"I would like to thank you for the lovely service you gave on Sunday for my Grandsons Baptism. I have received a lot of feedback from our family and friends, many of them are not church goers however they really enjoyed the service. They felt the way you delivered it with the puppet etc was very different to what they are used to in church services. They felt that it was definitely a way to keep all of the congregation interested and listening to the sermon."

"We would like to Thank you for all the efforts you put into the Goer wedding. Your message was a memorable part of the day and the rest of the ceremony was also beautifully performed. Both me and Thelma found we became more relaxed as we began the ceremony, we would contribute this to the way you delivered your message." - Wedding Couple.

"I wanted to hear your sermon before the new year commenced. What compelling words. I have tears in my eyes as I write. I would like you to know that you as a minister, the RUC community and the holy spirit came into my life just at the right time in." New Member.

“I have just arrived back from holidays, I had tears in my eyes when I saw the room, I can not thank you all enough for the fantastic job you all have done. Again thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart, the reaction from the staff in the office is incredible, so I can only imagine what the children’s reaction will be like.” - Dept of Communities worker after our room renovation.
