On a typical Sunday at 9am around 150-200 people of all ages and cultures gather. We begin with singing as a way to praise God. This is led with a band and sometimes our pipe organ. We offer prayers through the service for our world, ourselves and others. There will be some specific creative input for children (of all ages!) We often have puppets. Children 2-12 can then join our children’s ministry while teens and older hear the Bible read, and an engaging message proclaimed.
The third Sunday of the month the children remain and the whole service is aimed at engaging everyone!
The first Sunday of the month we share communion.
The service typically runs for 70 minutes. Afterwards an informal morning tea is served - it is a great chance to get to meet some people.
There is a parent’s room for those with young children, headphones for those with hearing difficulties and people with disabilities are always welcome. We have newly renovated toilets with disability access, and parents change room and access for fail aged.
You will not be singled out as a visitor during the service! You are quite welcome to come along and ‘watch’ from the sidelines, but come early if you want a seat at the back!
Our ‘style’ is inter-generational, contemporary, informed by tradition with a charismatic flavour. Everything we do flows from Jesus and the Bible.
Our 5pm Contemplative Prayer service [small group silent prayer] is currently operating.
Families @ Five - engage in a creative activity for all the family, followed by a meal together, then a faith input. Lots of kids (Once a Month).
